Over the years the school has realized an upwards trend in K.C.S.E. results except in the year 2008 when it registered a drop from a mean of 6.4 in 2007 to 5.3. In year 2011 the school attained a mean grade of 6.04. This performance is still below the school expected target but all indicators point to a higher grade.

By 2019:

By 2019 Senior Chief Koinange Girl’s High School is envisaged to be a school of choice as a centre of excellence with ultra modern facilities encompassing a fully equipped virtual library, state of the art laboratories, spacious offices and modern classes. The school will have an adequate and efficient transport system and a highly motivated student body, staff and subordinate staff.

Information Technology

The school has been offering computer studies course to all classes in Form One and Form Two. In Form Three it is an elective subject among Agriculture, Home Science, BED and Music. Our candidate class has been performing well at KCSE. In 2007 this school managed positions three in the larger Kiambu District with a mean score of 6.9091.
